1

Understanding the present situation and setting targets

Write the target values and the survey results of the present situation on the profit increase diagnosis sheet (Appendix 1). Assign the target as close to the middle of the actual and ideal situations. It's important not to change target settings midstream.

Create prototypes and examine systematization

The free Asprova hands-on version is installed in a PC. Read the introductory manual and run the samples to learn how to use the software. Enter your own plant data and create a prototype. Evaluate the prototype test linkage between range of systematization and existing system and need for peripheral function development and categorize problems as below.

A:Solve with Asprova standard functions

B:Solve with method of operations

C:Solve with development of peripheral programs and plug-ins

We recommend that before you make an official decision to install you build a prototype and examine it to be absolutely certain that the installation will be successful.

4

Maintain service outfit and develop additional programs.

The performance data will be maintained serviced and outfitted. The preparation of BOM necessary will take a lot of work. Think of it taking at least a month if one person is working on it. Full consideration must be given to have the person in charge given fully adequate time to do steadfast data maintenance service and outfitting. It is difficult to maintain service and outfit all BOM and the person may not be able to complete the task at high precision. In cases like that we recommend starting at a lower level of precision and then raising the level of precision as operations move forward.

In many cases this system can be linked with present systems. Linking them allows work to proceed more smoothly. It is possible that the customer can use Microsoft Access or Visual Basic to develop themselves peripheral programs such as the interface with the existing system.

When test operation is concluded actual runs will start.
