Optional Features

In Asprova, in addition to the standard functionality there are also various optional functions available to handle the demands for special situations.
(Optional functionality requires an additional purchase fee)

Optional Features

Sales order option

Using this feature, you can assign sales orders and peg them to manufacturing orders, inventory, and purchase orders.

Purchase order option

Using this feature, you can assign purchase orders and peg them to manufacturing orders and sales orders.

KPI option

KPI option calculates KPI (Key Performance Indicators) based on the scheduling results.

Optimization Logic Option

A feature for rearranging the sequence of operations assigned to a schedule through use of a specified key.
Example:This is an effective option where you want to assign the operations so that they are sequenced by colour from light to dark.

Event Option

If a set condition is reached then an event order will automatically be assigned.
Example:In the situation that, after a set period of manufacturing time or a fixed quantity of items have been produced, a maintenance occurs then this option will be effective.

Group assign option

Groups multiple operations and performs assignment to satisfy constraints such as same start time.

Time Constraint MAX option

To prevent processes from being separated beyond a set period of time.
Example:This is an effective option in chemical or food manufacturing in the case where the next process has to begin within a fixed time period.

Resource lock time option

After an operation has finished, it continues to possess that resource for the specified period of time.
Example:This is an effective option in the case where a furnace can't be loaded with the next item until the current item, that has just finished, is moved to the next process.

Option dependency

The following table shows which options can be used with each other.

*1 Event / Resource lock time

You cannot generate an event whilst considering the constraint of a Resource lock time.
You can use both options together when the resource generating the event has no relationship to the Resource lock time constraint.

*2 Event / Time constraint MAX

You cannot generate an event whilst considering the Time constraint MAX.
You can use both options together when the resource generating the event has no relationship to the Time constraint MAX.

*3 Event / Group assign

You cannot generate an event whilst considering the group assign constraint.
You can use both options together when the resource generating the event has no relationship to the group assign constraint.

*4 Optimization logic / Resource lock time

You cannot execute Sequence control whilst considering the constraint of a Resource lock time.
You can use both options together when the operation executing the Sequence control has no relationship to the Resource lock time.

*5 Optimization logic / Time constraint MAX

You cannot execute Sequence control whilst considering the Time constraint MAX.
You can use both options together when the operation executing the Sequence control has no relationship to the operations before or after it, or the Time constraint MAX.

*6 Optimization logic / Group assign

You cannot execute Sequence control whilst considering the group assign constraint.
You can use both options together when the operations executing the Sequence control are not grouped.

*7 Optimization logic / Event

You must set the "Keep assignment order of operations" property to "Yes".
