Adding new property definition

Steps

You can add new property definitions to classes.

To add a new property definition to a class, you can either use the Column Settings dialog or the popup menu of the class definition table.

Adding from the Column Settings dialog

To add a new property definition from the Column Settings dialog, follow the steps below.

In the table to which you want to add a new property definition, select [Column Settings...] from the top part popup menu.

The Column Settings dialog will be displayed. Click on the [New Property...] button.

The New Property Definition dialog will be displayed. Specify values as appropriate.


Adding from the popup menu of the class definition table

To add a new property definition from the class definition table, follow the steps below.

Click [Table view] - [Advanced settings] - [Class definition] from main menu, then class definition table is displayed.

In the leftmost Code column, find a class to which you want to add a new property.Right-click on that class and select [New Property Definition] from the popup menu.

The following options are available in the sub menu of [New Property Definition].Select the type of the property you are going to add.

- Integer Type

- Float Type

- Time Span Type

- Time Type

- String Type

- Enum

- Object type (added in Ver. 15.2)

The New Property Definition dialog will be displayed. Specify values as appropriate.


The property definition you have added will be displayed in the field mapping window as candidate for field mapping.
If you link the new property to an external field, you can perform I/O to and from external data.

Newly added properties will be displayed in the User tab and All properties tab in the properties window.

The code of a newly added property cannot be changed.
