Simple render modeResource Gantt chart
Simple render mode means that operation bars on the resource Gantt chart will be drawn with reduced detail.
This is to improve the speed and smoothness of scrolling the chart when there are a large number of operations showing.
During simple rendering, only the production part of operation bars is shown. That is, the following parts of the bar are not drawn:
Use instruction text
Shadow of the production bar
Capacity exceeded marking
Status (ie. fixed) indicators
Late operation markings
Using simple render mode
1. By holding down the Alt key
If the Alt key is held down while scrolling the chart, simple render mode will be used. This also applies for any chart scrolling caused by dragging and moving operations on the chart.
When the Alt key is released, the normal display will be shown again.
2. By setting the "Simple render mode" property in the display settings of the chart.
Simple render mode will be used when the "Simple render mode" property in the display settings of the chart is set to "Yes". The default setting is "No".
With this setting, simple render mode will be used when scrolling the chart using the mouse to move the scrollbars of the chart.
This setting can be set individually for each chart.
3. By setting the "Simple render mode" setting of the workspace properties
From the main menu, choosing View/Simple render mode will have the same effect as setting the "Simple render mode" property to "Yes" in every chart in the workspace.
