Grouping

Steps

Grouping Method Dialog

You can do grouping by using the property which specify the table display equipped with the table displays or charts.

The groping specified properties are displayed in the conditions under which the properties are arranged on the left as well as cells are connected.
The values of other properties are aggregated according to the aggregating method, and their results are displayed on the aggregate rows. The setting for the summary rows determines the position where the aggregate rows are displayed.

The Grouping Method Dialog sets up the setting for the grouping.

The aggregating values conform to the "aggregate method," which is set up by the grouping dialog. However, you can set up the aggregate method individually, using Column Settings Dialog.

Sorting

When sorting on the table where the groupings are being made, you can perform the sorting among which the files are being grouped.
The following show the results when the files were sorted by means of order code.

Filtering

When you perform filtering while the files are being grouped on the table, the aggregate lines remain as they are. You can recalculate by using the feature of re-description (F3 key).

Summary row display modifier expression

By editing the Summary row display modifier expression of a property definition (in the Display settings tab) the value shown in summary rows for that property can be customized. (This feature is introduced from Ver.6.3.0)

Example: To round the value to two decimal places the expression
Round(INPUT,2)
could be used.

Summary row background color expression

By editing the Summary row background color expression of a property definition (in the Display settings tab) the color of cells shown in summary rows for that property can be customized. (This feature is introduced from Ver.6.3.0)

Example: To make the cell background blue when the value is less than 50, and yellow when more than 50, the expression
IF(INPUT<50,RGB(153,153,255),RGB(255,255,153))
could be used.

Addition and Deleting of Rows

You cannot update files right away when lines are newly added or deleted on the table. You can update the grouping files by pressing F3 key.
You cannot delete aggregated rows.

Limitations
