Show in popup window
You can display tables such as time charts and order tables of the resource Gantt chart and so on in popup windows. ( Ver.13 restricted features. )
By displaying tables in a popup window, you can display that window outside the main window of Asprova, allowing you for example to display the table on the sub-display of a multi-display system.
You can also save a chart or table displayed in a popup window to the layout for future reuse.
Show in outer window
Displaying charts and tables in popup windows can be done with the following methods.
Windows tab popup menu
On the window tab of the window you want to display as a popup window, select “Show in outer window” from the right-click popup menu.
Corner Part Popup Menu
On the top left icon of the window you want to display as a popup window, select “Show in popup window” from the left-click popup menu.
Open by holding down the Shift key
When opening a new chart or table, opening it while holding down the Shift key will cause it to open in a popup window.
When a chart or table is displayed in a popup window, the display from the window tab displayed in the main window of Asprova will disappear.
Further, when a chart or table is displayed in a popup window, a menu is displayed in the top part of the window. A status bar is also displayed at the bottom.
“Window”, “Edit”, and “View” in the top menu are displayed as common items.
Lower down menus consist of menus designed for the chart or table displayed in the popup window.
The various menu items are the same as those of normal display.
The “Window” menu item is for when a table or chart is displayed in a popup window.
Dock to Main Frame
Cancels display in a popup window and returns to the original display.
Splitting a chart horizontally. If you select [Window] - [Split] and click the left mouse button at the desired position, the window will be split at that position into two panes.
Horizontal and vertical scrolling can be controlled separately for each pane.
Close All Windows
Closes the currently used project.
To cancel display in a popup window and return to the original display, either select “Window/Dock to Main Frame” from the menu, or select “Dock to Main Frame” from the popup menu displayed by right-clicking the caption of the popup window.
Window display position and layout settings
If the project file was saved while displayed in a popup window, that display position is also saved.
In the layout settings, display in a popup window can also be saved.
By reopening the project file or applying the layout, you can also display the popup window in the same position again.
However, for example, if display of a table or chart in a popup window using a multi-display system is saved, and the display to be used is not available when the window is opened again, the display position, display size, and so on, will be adjusted as needed.
No display at the display position
A popup window will be displayed at the center of the display on which Asprova is displayed.
If the top let point and top right point of the popup window are both outside the display
The popup window will be moved to a nearby display boundary.
If the width of the popup window is larger than the width of the display where display is attempted
The width of the popup window will be adjusted to the width of the display
If the height of the popup window is larger than the height of the display where display is attempted
The height of the popup window will be adjusted to the height of the display
