Find Dialog

Dialogs Overview


You can use the Find dialog to search a property, character string and so on in the currently displayed window.


As a dialog caption, the name of the window for which you execute the Find command will be displayed.

Find what

Enter a property name or characters you want to search.

Find unit

 "Complete match"Only those which completely match the characters you specified in the "Find what" field will be searched.
On versions earlier than Ver.12.0.2, this is shown as "Property value".
 "Partial match"Those that include the characters you specified in the "Find what" field will be searched.
On versions earlier than Ver.12.0.2, this is shown as "All".

Find scope

 "All"All the displayed cells will be searched.
On versions earlier than Ver.12.0.2, this is shown as "Active window".
 "Selected column"The selected column will be searched.
On versions earlier than Ver.12.0.2, this is shown as "Column".
 "Selection only"The selected cells will be searched. (After Ver.12.0.2, Ver.13 restricted feature)
 "Property"Properties will be searched. Search using an internal name, display name, or alias. (After Ver.12.0.2, Ver.13 restricted feature)
If you select this, you cannot select "Find unit". Properties that include the search text will be searched.

Up

Usually, the characters you specified in the "Find what" field will be searched downward from the cell you selected (or from the upper left corner), and if search is finished to the bottom the column on the right will be searched from the top to the bottom.

If you check here, the search will be executed in the opposite direction from usual.

Left

If "Find scope" is set to "Property", properties in the table are normally searched from left to right.

If you check here, the search will be executed in the opposite direction from usual. (After Ver.12.0.2, Ver.13 restricted feature)

Find Next

If you click this button, the cursor will jump to the next found cell.


When performing the search on a table, the searched cell becomes highlighted.


When performing the search on a time table, the focus turns to the table part and the searched cell and its corresponding chart row becomes selected.


When performing the search with "Find scope" set to "Property", the column of the found property becomes selected.
