Sort

You can use this dialog to sort data in a table view by specifying the properties and methods by which you want to sort the data. Each item of the Sort expression dialog means as follows:

Property

In the Property field, it specifies a property to sort the window. You can select properties from the dropdown list box. If custom sort keys are registered, the registered keys will be listed first followed by a separator and properties.

If you specify multiple properties, those listed higher on the list (with smaller list numbers) have a higher priority.

Example

Priority

Property

Direction

1

Priority

Descending

2

Due date

Ascending

In the above setting, the window will be sorted by priority in descending order and due date in ascending order.

Index

In cases where a property contains multiple data such as the property [Comments], specify an index for the sort target data. For example, if you want to sort by the third data of the comments, specify "3" as the index.

When properties for which you can specify multiple values are not selected, the Index column will be automatically hidden.

Direction

Select either ascending order or descending order for sorting.

This button moves the selected key one position down to decrease the priority of the key in sorting. When multiple keys are selected, only the top key will be moved.

This button moves the selected key to one position up to increase the priority of the key in sorting. When multiple keys are selected, only the top key will be moved.

This button deletes the selected sort key.

This button adds a sort key. When this button is clicked while a sort key is selected, a sort key with the same settings as the selected sort key will be added below the selected key. When multiple sort keys are selected, only the top key will be the target. When this button is clicked while a sort key is not selected or a blank key is selected, a blank key will be added.

This button deletes all the sort keys.

This button opens the Expression dialog for creating custom sort keys.

OK

This button executes sorting by the conditions you specified.

Cancel

Discards all the specified contents and unsaved changes, and closes the sort expression dialog without executing the sort.
