Table Time Chart Windows Overview

The order Gantt chart is a table time chart whose table view displays orders.
This chart enables you to understand how each order and operation are assigned.

Left-clicking on [+] shown in the left part of the order Gantt chart displays the information of the order at one level lower in separate rows. Usually, in the case of an order, operations that belong to the given order are displayed in separate rows, and in the case of an operation, tasks that belong to the given operation are displayed in separate rows. However, the contents to be displayed may slightly differ depending on the situation. For example, if an operation of the given order is split, each split operation is displayed in a separate row.
Left-clicking on [-] shown in the left part of the order Gantt chart closes all the lower level display.

When the mouse is held above a use instruction bar, a tooltip displaying more information is shown.
The tooltip and status bar text can be customized.

Open charts through jumping

Whether or not to adjust the unit term and emphasize object selected before the jump when opening a chart from the jump menu (which is a popup menu), can be set in the “Unit term after jump” and “Bar display color after jump” display properties.

Marker

A marker will be shown for the "EST (earliest start time)", "Due date" and "Inventory Valid Period" of an order.

EST

Displays a blue triangle marker for the position of the EST.

Due date

Displays a red inverted triangle marker for the position of the due date.

Inventory valid period

Displays a green inverted triangle marker for the position of Inventory Valid Period for Inventory Order.

Displays a marker for both User Appointed EST and User Appointed LET for Operation.

User Appointed EST

Displays a blue triangle marker for the position of User Appointed EST.

User Appointed LET

Displays a red inverted triangle for the position of User Appointed LET.

Status

Depending on the status of an operation or task, the following marks are displayed under the bar:

Results

The use instruction bar appears shaded and a gray line is displayed under the bar.

Frozen

A black line is displayed under the use instruction bar.

Released

A green line is displayed under the use instruction bar.

Fix

You can fix time or resources for each use instruction and operation. Depending on the method of fix, each fix is displayed differently as follows:

Full fix

Blue L-shaped marks are displayed under the use instruction bar.

Time fix

Blue vertical marks are displayed under the use instruction bar.

Resource fix

Blue horizontal marks are displayed under the use instruction bar.

Use instruction fix

Red horizontal marks are displayed under the use instruction bar.

Connection Lines

Connection lines represent relationships between operations.

Warning display

As a result of scheduling, assigned operations may violate various constraints. The order Gantt chart displays a warning for violations of constraints as follows:

Latest end time violation (lateness)

If an assigned operation runs late, the task string is displayed in red and a red check mark is shown on the lower right-hand corner of the operation.

Earliest start time violation

If an operation has been assigned before the earliest start time, the task string is displayed in blue.

Forcibly assign

A red line is displayed under the use instruction bar.

Time constraint violation

If the time relationship between processes violates time constraints (the relationship is reversed), the connecting lines will be displayed in red.

Time constraint MAX violation

If the time constraint MAX is violated, the text and connection lines will be displayed in orange.

Date Display

The order Gantt chart displays various dates specified for an order as follows:

EST

Displayed as a red triangle marker.

Latest end time (due date)

Displayed as a red inverted triangle marker.

Disable Order

A use instruction(s) of the order specified as "disabled" appears shaded.

Order Gantt Chart Operations

Marker operations

You can move the EST/Due date, user specified EST/Due date and Inventory valid time by dragging and dropping the marker using the mouse.

Right clicking on a marker will display a menu from which you can delete the marker. You can delete the marker times (EST, Due date, Inventory valid period, User specified EST, User specified LET) by selecting the menu.

Work bar operations

Left-clicking on a work bar enables you to select that bar. The selected bar will be drawn with a frame around it. However, if you left-click while holding down the Ctrl key, the currently selected tasks will remain selected, enabling you to select multiple tasks at the same time.

If you press the up or down arrow key while a bar is selected, the current selected bar will be unselected, and instead the bar above or below the current selected bar will be selected.

Menu

On the order Gantt chart, you can perform various operations using the [Chart] menu available in the Menu.

Popup menu

Right-clicking the mouse on each area of the order Gantt chart invokes a corresponding popup menu.
