Operation mode operations

Overview

Since Asprova is extremely rich in features, there is a lot of items for which you can specify values. However, in many cases of actual operation, only part of the features are used and you may not want to display unused properties.

In Asprova, there are four operation modes that displays different properties and menus and you can change the mode depending on purposes and situations.

The followings are options of the operation mode.

Basic

Only the basic properties such as the ones introduced in the Introductory Manual will be displayed. We recommend this mode for those who use Asprova for the first time. Specifically, properties for which the "Display in basic mode" flag of the property definition class is set will be displayed.

Also, Basic mode has the following characteristic.

- The property "Properties window display method" will always be "Open dialog".
- Menu items [Spec], [Command], [Advanced Master], and [Advanced Settings] will not be displayed in the [Table View] menu.
- The All properties tab will not be displayed in the properties window.

Standard

A lot of properties will be displayed. We recommend this mode for those who already mastered basic operations of Asprova. Specifically, properties for which the "Display in standard mode" flag of the property definition class is set will be displayed.

Custom

Only user specified properties will be displayed. We recommend this mode for users who already introduced Asprova. Specifically, properties for which the "Display in custom mode" flag of the property definition class is set will be displayed.

Developer

Almost all properties including the ones for internal processing will be displayed. Usually, this mode is used only by developers of Asprova. Specifically, properties for which the "Display in developer mode" flag of the property definition class is set will be displayed.

When you create a new project, the Initial Setting Dialog will be displayed to choose between the Basic and Standard mode.
