GUI Overview

Introduction

Asprova APS provides a rich array of features that enables you to do various operations such as to display and modify scheduling results and edit data visually on the screen.

In this reference, Asprova APS's GUI features are explained in the following subsections:

Operation Mode

There are four operation modes in which properties and menus are displayed differently. You can switch the mode according to purposes and situations.


Table View

A table view displays settings fields for master data, orders and charts, and so on in table format.


In these windows, each category of data is displayed in detail so that users can easily view.

You can also modify and edit the data in the windows.


Graphical master

Displays the master data in a graphical format. The master data can also be edited here.


Table Time Chart Windows

A table time chart is a chart in which the window is vertically divided into two parts, a table view on the left side and a time chart of which the horizontal axis represents time on the right side.


HTML view

Using HTML view, you can display a file in HTML format. It is not only for WWW browsing but expanding Asprova to create free forms. Advanced features can be provided using DHTML and script languages (VBScript, JavaScript, etc.) By installing ActiveX control, you can add features that cannot be realized by scripting.


Global Windows

There are three types of global windows; the object window, properties window and message window.

Menu Bar

The menu bar displays settings buttons that are common to operations on various windows.


Toolbars

The toolbars display settings buttons that are grouped according to functionality. You can create additional toolbars. Also, you can hide and unhide the settings buttons.


Dialogs

You can define detailed settings according to the purpose of each dialog.
