The origin of Asprova development begins in the early 1990s with the boom in artificial intelligence. At that time I was working on the development of expert system architectural tools using Lisp. But by 1993 the artificial intelligence boom had ended and I had to examine the next subject of development. The expert system is made up of several categories: the diagnostic type the design type and the planning type and production scheduling was one of the parts of the planning type. I conducted a marketing survey based on information about industries such as Japanese AI and newspapers and found that there was a high demand in the market that there was a high monetary benefit for the user and that led to the selection of the production scheduler as a practical field of development.
